Blog EntryARE EYE LASH EXTENSIONS SAFE???Jul 12, '08 5:06 AM
for everyone
Today is my second day since my first eyelash experience and...it will never happen again! It was really painful attaching each individual lash on my eyes and I felt like going home! The minute I felt the sting of that "special" glue (as if there's something so SPECIAL about it!) Lumuluha talaga ako...I know something must be wrong...and now I'm wondering...are they safe???

I was actually having second thoughts about having my lashes extended....but my dear sister-in-law was so game about it and I was just so damn curious... I was never fond of any skin care or facial centers coz they prick like hell. They say "mahirap daw magpagganda"....I told myself..."o ayan napala mo"...

If that is the case, I will just be thankful with what God has given me.Ok nako sa make up lang or maybe just put on fake lashes...or the better curl them and put mascara or whatever...ayoko na mag eyelash extensions....=(

Someone told me...."lagot ka...malalagas tunay na pilikmata mo"....shucks I'm so scared....
ayokong makalbo!=(  true ba yan?If so...sana tumubo naman.....

lower lashes are real...the upper already has extensions...

the lashes looks so lovely....pero masakit yan...

hi there. i really feel for you. my sister, who lives in sydney, had eyelash extensions done here because it was so much cheaper. unfortuantely, the glue they use here made her cry during the entire procedure. it was excruciating! at the salon, they kept telling her that it was safe. her real lashes didn't fall out naman as you mentioned among your fears. she continues to have it done in sydney, and the glue they use does not give her any discomfort at all. i wish someone could bring in non-sting glue so more people can have this done without adding eyebags along with the lashes!

hi ej, i have only used mac's eyelashes, the ones that you just glue on...i personally don't like to put on anything na foreign object lalo on anything near an open skin baka kasi mainfect or whatever.Maganda ka na,sa susunod wag ka na maglagay!!!hehehehe

jeez..thanks ha...so are you!!! i'm doing great naman=) how are you? maybe you should try it...pero I'm not in the position to say whether it's safe to have it or not but as a make up artist it does really enhance one's beauty ..no need for mascara and falsies...=) i'll let you know what happens maybe after a month or two.I'll blog about my whole experience on this!thanks!
